Lethex Wallet basics.
A quick guide to creating, importing, and opening a local Lethex Wallet vault, and an index of every other guide.
Getting started
Choose Create wallet for a new local vault, or Import wallet to restore access from an existing 12 or 24 word recovery phrase.
Create a new wallet
Set a strong local password, continue to Recovery Phrase, reveal the phrase, acknowledge your backup responsibility, then confirm the requested words.
Import an existing wallet
Choose Import wallet, enter your recovery phrase, set a local password, and continue only when you are restoring your own wallet.
Recovery phrase guide
Write the phrase in order and keep it offline. Lethex will not store it, send it, or recover it if it is lost.
Password and local vault
The password encrypts the wallet vault on this device. It should be unique, long, and hard to guess.
Opening the wallet after setup
Wallet Ready appears before the dashboard. Use Open wallet to activate the local session and continue to /home.
Basic troubleshooting
If the page does not respond, refresh once and confirm runtime configuration loads. Never enter your phrase into another site because of an error message.
