During wallet creation onboarding, the vault is created locally in the browser. The setup flow is designed around local key generation.

The recovery phrase is generated locally and is not sent to Lethex during onboarding. Do not share it with anyone.

The password is used locally to encrypt the wallet vault. It is not intended to be sent to Lethex during wallet setup.

The app reads runtime configuration so it knows which gateway to use. Browser storage may hold app settings and encrypted wallet data needed by the local wallet.

Onboarding may load public app assets, runtime configuration, and service health information. Wallet setup must not send raw passwords or recovery phrases in request bodies.

During wallet creation onboarding, Lethex does not collect the raw recovery phrase, raw password, or requested confirmation words.
