Financial platforms ask users for something valuable:
Trust.
At LETHEX that trust is built from architecture, controls and evidence a reader can check.
This page sets out what LETHEX holds, how it is protected, and the standard every published figure meets.
LETHEX is operated by a specialised team of engineers, security and digital-finance professionals on redundant multi-node infrastructure, and every control on this page is a property of that operation.
Our First Principle: Separate User Assets From Company Assets
The most important distinction in digital finance is the difference between:
- assets controlled by users
and
- assets belonging to the company or the ecosystem.
They are always presented separately.
LETHEX’s non-custodial architecture rests on a single principle:
Your wallet assets remain under your control.
Where LETHEX provides non-custodial functionality, the user holds the credentials that control the assets.
Assets controlled through a user’s non-custodial wallet sit apart from every corporate treasury.
They belong to the user.
Non-Custodial Means Something Specific
“Non-custodial” is a precise technical description.
It means the user holds the credentials required to control the wallet.
That is different from a custodial account, where the platform controls the private keys and keeps an internal record of what each customer owns.
LETHEX runs both models and labels which one an asset is in.
The strongest custody model holds exactly what an exchange must hold.
What LETHEX Holds
LETHEX holds four kinds of assets in custody.
- Exchange balances, settled in LUSD and USDT across more than 4,800 markets on a single price plane.
- Internal LTHX and LUSD balances, which move between accounts instantly on the ledger.
- Assets in a peer-to-peer trade, held only while that trade is open.
- Reserves on the Tron network backing TRX and USDT deposits and withdrawals.
Everything in the self-custody wallet stays under the user’s own keys.
LETHEX Treasury
LETHEX also holds the resources required to operate and develop the ecosystem: operational assets, infrastructure resources and liquidity.
Those assets are recorded apart from assets controlled by users.
LETHEX reserves the term “Proof of Reserves” for verified evidence.
How Treasury Addresses Are Protected
Operational and treasury addresses are protected under a deliberate security policy.
Address disclosure is designed as a control, with segregation, operational security and a verification method attached.
Their verification runs through the reconciliation described below, which continuously compares obligations with on-chain balances.
How Claims Are Held to Evidence
Transparency also means holding every claim to evidence.
- A number on this page is described as verified reserves only together with the method that verifies it.
- Evidence of solvency is drawn from records a reader can verify.
- Internal database figures are labelled as internal figures.
- Company assets and customer assets are described separately.
- A wallet is attributed to LETHEX on evidence of control over its key.
Evidence supports the claim.
Proof of Reserves: What It Actually Proves
Proof of Reserves is often reduced to a single question:
“How much cryptocurrency does the platform have?”
A serious framework answers five.
1. Assets
What assets can the platform demonstrate control over?
2. Liabilities
What does the platform owe its users and counterparties?
3. Ownership
Can control of the disclosed assets be demonstrated?
4. Verification
Can an independent party check the evidence?
5. Timing
Does the evidence cover a period, or a single moment chosen by the platform?
A serious framework measures what a platform owes alongside what it holds.
Solvency is proved by assets and liabilities together.
Our Verification Framework
Seven controls carry verification at LETHEX. Each one is a property of the platform as it runs.
Control 1 — Architecture Disclosure
How LETHEX handles custody, non-custodial wallets, trading and asset flows is documented across these pages.
A user is able to understand the system before being asked to rely on it.
Control 2 — Asset Segregation
Customer assets, peer-to-peer escrow and company resources are recorded in separate positions on the ledger.
Good transparency begins with accounting that keeps them apart.
Control 3 — Multi-Approval Authorisation
Every withdrawal and every exceptional deposit credit passes through independent approvals.
Every approval is recorded, and the platform enforces that the approvals are independent.
Control 4 — Continuous Reconciliation
A reconciler continuously compares the liabilities recorded in the ledger with the balances held on chain.
A difference becomes an operator's task, and the comparison is the source of any reserve figure LETHEX publishes.
Control 5 — Operational Security of Addresses
Treasury addresses are protected under operational security controls, with keys to platform funds held apart from the service that answers the application.
Control 6 — User-Side Verification
Every deposit and withdrawal carries a transaction hash on a public chain that any user can check independently.
Self-custody assets are verified directly on chain by their owner.
Control 7 — Method Before Number
A reserve figure is published with the method that produced it, the period it covers and the liabilities it was compared against.
Numbers with reproducible evidence are transparency.
Transparency and Security Together
Transparency and operational security are balanced deliberately.
LETHEX applies one consistent rule:
- Disclose what a user needs in order to evaluate the platform.
- Protect information whose disclosure creates a genuine security risk.
- Replace direct disclosure with a verifiable control wherever the disclosure itself is unsafe.
Numbers With Method
Every figure on this page comes with the method that produced it.
Our Transparency Standard
The standard rests on five rules:
- Every number grounded in evidence.
- Only verifiable reserve claims.
- Company and user assets always kept distinct.
- The term Proof of Reserves used precisely.
- Every claim open to verification.
The result is a page whose every statement stands up to checking.
A Hybrid Model Requires a Different Kind of Transparency
LETHEX goes beyond the conventional custodial exchange.
It combines exchange infrastructure with a non-custodial wallet, and that changes the transparency question.
For assets under the user’s own keys, LETHEX offers the strongest position of all.
The user holds them directly.
Where LETHEX does take custody, that obligation is identified as custody and carries the controls above.
Our Commitment
LETHEX invites every user to verify.
It asks a user to check what can be checked:
- Verify the architecture.
- Inspect what is published.
- Understand the custody model.
- Verify the cryptographic evidence.
- Read the controls, and hold this venue to them.
In digital finance, transparency ends in verification.
