The wallet is self-custody: its keys belong to the user alone.
The exchange account is custodial. Its balances are a claim on the LETHEX ledger. Withdrawals from it are processed through a secured, multi-approval payout pipeline.
Two kinds of ownership, kept apart by design, and each labelled as what it is.
That separation makes clear, for every asset, who controls it and how it is protected.
These pages set out what LETHEX operates and how customer funds are protected.
LETHEX is built and operated by a specialised team of engineers, security and digital-finance professionals, and runs on redundant multi-node infrastructure.
What LETHEX Operates
Four systems, one login.
- A self-custody wallet, where the user holds the keys and signs their own transactions.
- A spot exchange with more than 4,800 markets on a single price plane, settled in LUSD and USDT.
- A peer-to-peer marketplace, where two users trade with each other and the asset is held until the trade completes.
- An internal ledger where LTHX and LUSD balances move between accounts instantly.
Deposits and withdrawals reach the outside world over the Tron network, in TRX and USDT.
Every deposit is credited after network confirmation, as the asset that arrived: USDT as USDT, TRX as TRX.
How Customer Funds Are Protected
Every withdrawal is processed through a secured, multi-approval payout pipeline.
Exceptional deposit credits pass through the same multi-approval control.
A reconciler continuously compares what the ledger owes users with the balances held on chain.
Every difference it finds is worked by operators and recorded.
A withdrawal is authorised by the account holder across three separate credentials — a wallet signature, an authenticator code and an emailed code — inside one short window.
Treasury and operational addresses are protected under operational security controls.
Our Operating Principles
Seven principles govern every decision.
Ownership
The exchange holds only what it must, and every other asset stays with the user.
Separation
Customer assets and company assets are recorded, held and reported apart.
Evidence
Every published claim carries the evidence that supports it.
Security
Security is a permanent operating responsibility, carried through every release.
Accessibility
Advanced infrastructure is built to be used safely by everyone.
Accountability
An error is corrected in the record where it happened, and the correction is visible to the user it affected.
Continuity
Every control this platform depends on is tested on every release.
